How To Choose An Exclusive Wedding Venue

The wedding venue is a critical aspect of a successful event. Finding an exclusive venue can be pretty challenging. Below are criteria to help you find an exclusive wedding venue.

Determine The Type Of Venue

There are different kinds of exclusive wedding venues. The secret is to establish which venue suits your wedding needs. For example, outdoor venues allow you to take amazing wedding photos. However, they may not be ideal during the rainy season. You will find different types of outdoor facilities. For example, you could hold the event at a hotel, park, rooftop or beach. You could also opt for an indoor venue. Most hotels have ballrooms that can be rented to clients who intend to hold weddings. The advantage of these venues is that you do not need to worry about harsh weather conditions.

Assess The Venue Location

The general rule is to consider conveniently-located venues. For instance, if you plan to use the venue for the wedding reception or evening party, it should be close to the primary wedding location. This way, guests do not have to drive for long hours to the venue. Moreover, the facility should have multiple access points and adequate parking space. It must also be secure. After all, you do not want your guests to get mugged as they attend your wedding.

Inquire About The Available Services

The exclusive wedding venue should offer these services:

  • Sufficient tents, chairs and marquees. The management should also organise wedding décor.
  • The venue should offer catering services. Remember to evaluate the experience of kitchen staff and ask for a menu tasting a few days before the event.
  • The venue must provide entertainment equipment such as sound, lighting and LED screens.
  • Inquire about the availability of skilled security personnel. For instance, you might need traffic marshals or event security.

Check The Terms And Pricing

Once the venue meets the above criteria, ask management to send you a copy of the venue rental conditions. Check what activities you can conduct inside the venue. For instance, some facilities restrict loud music at night and the consumption of drugs. Moreover, management could prohibit guests from accessing some areas. Check whether management has adequate insurance. For example, people who suffer injuries at the facility should receive compensation. Evaluate the rental costs. It would be best if you compare the pricing of similar facilities before negotiating. You must also examine the booking policy and payment arrangements.
